What is CNC fabrication?

Formation or sheet metal fabrication is a process of applying stresses to various metals in order to deform the material’s original shape, creating sheets of metal or metallic fabrics that have been bent and stretched into various complex shapes. Applied Laser Solutions, Inc. uses Computer Numerical Control (CNC) machinery to accurately guide the forming equipment in order to produce quality formed materials in a short time frame.

At Applied Laser Solutions, Inc. we specialize in stainless steel fabrication but also offer metal fabrication and forming of plate steel, sheet steal and angle iron and structural metals. We guarantee consistently accurate and quality formed materials. This is achieved using our 3 axis CNC controlled 250 ton, 12’ hydraulic press brake, providing automatic sequencing of bending data. We also offer section rolling of structural flat, angle, tube and pipe metals as well as Plate rolling for forming of arcs and cylindrical parts Also, we offer tungsten inert gas (TIG) and metal inert gas (MIG) welding services. Other metal fabrication companies may outsource. At Applied Laser Solutions, Inc., all metal fabrication is performed in house within our own metal fabrication shop and is overseen by our professionals and controlled by our CNC equipment.

At our contract manufacturing facility, we offer rapid prototyping, as well as component and full production runs. Applied Laser Solutions, Inc. follows strict Just-In-Time production protocols to avoid unnecessary inventory buildup, maintain low production costs and consistently provide quick turnaround times. It is imperative that we cater specifically to your scheduling requirements as well as work closely with you to meet your budget.

Applied Laser Solutions, Inc. has one of the largest blast finishing facilities in the area where we house a 30’ x 15’ x 10’ available for glass beading stainless steel and other large materials. For smaller projects we house a 36” x 60” blast cabinet. Whatever the size of finishing job you need performed, we have you covered. We also offer stripping and surface preparation.

We offer Powder Coating and Paint as well as Electropolishing and Plating services for a completed ready to use part/assembly.

We have a variety of CNC guided equipment allowing us to provide rapid prototyping and prototype models quick to the consumer. We offer laser cut, fabricated and laser engraved prototypes. Let us know how we can help you.
